Why customer service is so important?

I am proud to be a 3rd generation partner in Western Spring Manufacturing. We are spring manufacturers of precision coil springs and wire forms.  We offer custom design services which allows us to fully understand what our clients are looking for; and we have state of the art spring making technology that offers us the latest ways of improving our products.

Everything pertaining to our company reflects upon everything else. If we have good customer service, people assume we have good quality products. If we have bad customer service, people naturally assume we have bad products and this can pertain to shipping, returns, services, and anything else. Even though this may not be entirely true, we need to be aware that this is how customers think. Good customer service starts from a burning desire to make quality products.

These days, we need to cater to the “New Customer”. This is someone who expects to be treated as a person, who wants more from the experience, and who does not want to be just a number. Better customer service opens the doors for new partnerships, especially when other businesses see how well we take care of our existing customers. By providing the best in customer service, we increase trust, and that means the difference between customer loyalty and customers who jump ship. Our customers have no reason to shop anywhere else. Our new customers are impressed enough to become loyal customers.

Our belief in taking care of our customers conveys a strong set of moral values and beliefs. It also means that there are greater forces at work here than mere profits. It’s indicative of a deeper desire to build something of value, to help others, and to offer better solutions. By listening to our clients and reviewing past orders, we can fully understand how our customers use custom springs & wire forms, which in turn allows us to produce better products and give our customers what they want.
